2 Ensure equity of access to technology resources
Provide for a training plan of staff that allows training to be relevant and current. Develop a plan of computer placement to insure equal access to all students. Insure that instructional schedules integrate technology equitably. Develop a budget that allows for future growth and upgrades/repair with a complete turn every 5 years.

3 Identify, communicate, model end enforce social legal, and ethical practices
Develop appropriate policies and procedures. Develop contracts between parents, students, and school that outline the policies. Incorporate software to monitor internet access. Conduct in-service for teachers concerning policies and procedures.

4 Promote and enforce privacy, security, and online safety related to the use of technology
Develop appropriate policies and procedures. Develop contracts between parents, students, and school that outline the policies. Incorporate software to monitor internet access. Conduct in-service for teachers concerning policies and procedures.

5 Promote and enforce environmentally safe and healthy practices
Staff development relevant to safe and healthy practices. New purchases should be reviewed for compliance with safety and health issues. Review personnel and student statistics for instances of health problems related to computer use. Replace defective furniture as soon as possible

6 Participate in the development of policies that clearly enforce copyright law and ownership of intellectual property developed with district resources. Develop policies and procedures that reflect appropriate use of copyright materials. Conduct staff development on copyright laws. Develop policies and procedure concerning intellectual property developed with district resources. Conduct staff development on intellectual property.
