5. What is a Right? Discuss how you would define a Right.
A right is something you are born with, and you will die with, granted to you because you exist.

6. What is a Privilege? Discuss how you would define a Privilege.
A privilege is granted to you by the State, and may be revoked at any time, if one loses favor. This is usually caused by a failure to pay tax, license fee, etc. or by breaking a law.

7. What is a Basic Health Care?
We’ve discussed what constitutes basic health insurance. But here’s where it gets complicated!
Should any available treatment be offered to everyone or do you have to draw the line?
Should there be any out of pocket costs or should the government pay for all treatment?

We will read the following cases.
You will need to decide whether you consider the treatment in the case to be a right or a privilege.
You will go to the side of the room that corresponds with your answer. If you vote that it’s a right, go to the right side. If you vote that it’s a privilege, go to the left.
