1. Under his coaching Lithuania became the European champions in 1937 and 1939.

2. The Soviet occupation in 1940 destroyed the plan to host 1941 European championship in Lithuania and removed the Lithuanian national team from the basketball geography.

3. Once Lithuania regained independence its national basketball team was its best advertisement abroad.

4. Lithuania won bronze medals in the first three Olympics to include NBA players – 1992, 1996, and 2000

5. and finished fourth in 2004 and 2008

6. The Lithuanian team won the Euro Basket for the third time in 2003

7. It also won the bronze medal in the 2010 FIBA World Championship

8. Our team won silver medals in Euro Basket 2013.
