Pre-Bell Question: Create a science/ social studies topic or question you would like to research on the Internet. Bell Work Question: Prebell Question:Prebell Activity: Explain two (2) proper techniques when keyboarding correctly. Monday Objectives: The student will recognize vocabulary concepts on Unit 3 Web Publishing/Telecommunications by utilize the Frayer Model. ICT1 4.a. Demonstrate proper hand, finger, and body position when using a keyboard (ongoing).

2 Day 1 Monday Daily Agenda
The teacher will introduce today’s lesson on Unit 3 vocabulary concepts and terms and explain the purpose. Examples: blogs, wikis, discussion board, browser, telecommunications Model the Frayer Model to the students using the word from Technology text on the smartboard. Have students share their ideas to fill in the definition, characteristics, examples, and non-examples. As students are reading articles from the Internet concerning Web Publishing/Web Browsing and technology book, have students make a list of vocabulary words they don't know on post-it notes or index cards Pass out the Frayer Model Worksheet. Have students work in pairs using the Frayer model to define four words from their list. Have each group share one word with the whole class. The students will continue Edu Keyboarding lesson today—Lesson 1-14 Differentiated Activities: Some students will work on 2016 Cyber Safety Poster today. Other students will work on on Internet skills Closure: Wrap up with a review of today's lesson. (Pair –Share Review Assessment: The students will be able to complete the Frayer Model worksheet for four words Homework: The students will get homework sheet on keyboarding handout and turn in on Thursday.

5 Day 2 Tues. Daily Agenda Pre Bell Question: Describe a Database and give examples. (Use Internet) 1. The teacher will review previous lesson and homework. Introduce today's lesson. 2. The teacher will explain various criteria for evaluating websites. 3. The student will search the Internet for various websites and use the handouts to evaluate various web sites. 4. Continue keyboarding lessons from previous day and do Dictation from Typing Textbook. 5. If time permits, have students will create their own website evaluation tools such as a checklist or rubric.--Complete for homework. 6. Wrap-up-share evaluation tools orally– see next slide.

Pre Bell Question: Name and describe the special keys on the keyboard OBJECTIVE-DAY The student will: ICT14-a-c . a. Demonstrate proper hand, finger, and body position when using a keyboard (ongoing). b. Use correct finger reaches from home row to top/bottom row keys (ongoing). c. Perform touch typing by keying words, sentences, and paragraphs (ongoing).

8 Day 3 Wed. Daily Agenda Pre Bell Question: Name the special keys on the keyboard. 1. The teacher will introduce lesson and review previous lesson with students. 2. The students will continue alphabetic keyboarding lessons-Edu Typing & Typing Dictation 3. Homework: Review Sheet on Keyboarding 4. Exit Question: Next Slide

ICTI4.1d - Demonstrate proper use of special keys such as the spacebar, enter/return, shift, tab, delete, backspace, arrow keys, ctrl, alt, home, insert, and so forth (ongoing Pre Bell Question: If you were evaluating a Website, create one question you would write on the evaluation tool.

The teacher will continue keyboarding and give the importance of keyboarding 2, The students will continue keyboarding. 3. Wrap up with a review. See Next Slide 4. Homework: Study location of keys and continue practice online keyboarding –Written Keyboarding Test Friday

12 DAY 4-CLOSURE-EXIT QUESTION
(Use an exit card) Describe two techniques while keyboarding. Example: Your feet flat on the floor. (Pair and Share)

13 DAY 5 OBJECTIVE & BELL WORK
The Objective: ICT1 3 &4—The student will demonstrate their strengths and weaknesses on skills related to keyboarding with 70% accuracy. Pre-Bell Questions: Choose One: What does Proper Techniques look like while keyboarding? Or If you were evaluating a Website, create a second question you would write on the evaluation tool.

14 Day 5 Friday Daily Agenda
Pre Bell Question: If you were evaluating a Website, create a second question you would write on the evaluation tool. 1.Review previous lesson on special keys and give the purpose 2.The students will complete a Keyboarding Post Test in another classroom without looking at your keys. 3. The students will work on Keyboarding Word Search. 3. Wrap up with a review.- Do Exit Question –See next slide

15 Day 5-Closure –Exit Questions
