3 Sentence #2 This sentence says more about the first sentence, but is a little more specific so that it leads into the thesis. Example: Sometimes, it takes a traumatic experience to force someone into maturity. ***Again, there should be no CD in this sentence*** You do not put the title, the author, or the characters’ names in this sentence!!!

4 Sentence #3 This is your thesis sentence.
It is a fill in the blank sentence. In (name of the piece) by (author), (character 1) feels (CM), (character 2) feels (CM), and (character 3) feels (CM) about (theme). Example: In Watsons Go to Birmingham, by Christopher Paul Curtis, Byron is an immature bully in the beginning, but grows into a loving brother in the end.
