3. Overview
Congress is willing to help students finance their education, but does require the student to be making a satisfactory rate of progress toward graduation. We are required to, at least annually, complete an evaluation of our students rate of progress and suspend their eligibility if they don’t meet the minimum criteria.

8. How and When
SAP evaluations are done one time each year (after the Spring II term) for anyone who obtained aid during the year.
SAP status is determined based on the academic standing at the end of the last enrolled term.
Students who don’t meet all of the criteria are put on Suspension status.

13. What You Can Do To Help
Make sure we have all transfer credits on the transcript as quickly as possible.
Monitor student performance and give them a heads up that this may be coming if they don’t improve.
Students who start in Spring I or Spring II are especially vulnerable if they don’t do well right away.
