Local conferences for “common ground” interests
Making or participating in local initiatives from our own Bahai community
Volunteering in our own neighborhood organizations

4. Let us discover if our new friends are receptive or interested to hear more about the Baha’i Faith

5. Now is the time to invite them to a fireside or devotional

6. Make sure your event is interactive so you have a chance to hear what your friends are interested in and want to know more

7. Offer at the end of a group event an invitation for a more personal “One on One” home visit

8. Find ways to open your home for regular follow up visits to have a more bonded friendship….this allows your friend to ask all of his/her personal questions as the “emptying of the cup” begins. Each one of the answers should be accompanied from quotes from the Baha’i Writings.

9. Now is the time to invite your friend to become part of the Baha’i family

10. Or maybe your friend just wants to be part of the many services our Institute Process offers in our neighborhoods.

11. Time to help your new Baha’i to teach their very own family, friends, coworkers or neighbors.

12. Now is also the time to start to deepen and become part of the community around them. Do not leave them alone, as this is the time to make sure they are accompanied and felt most welcome. Engage them with opportunities to serve and make meaningful contributions.
