LysoPC treatment up-regulated the [3H] thymidine incorporation level in (A) a dose- and (B) time-dependent fashion in human glomerular mesangial cell line (HMCL). PC treatment did not induce the mRNA expression of either PDGF A or B chains in human glomerular mesangial cell line (HMCL). LysoPC did not induce PDGF A chain mRNA expression but did induce B chain mRNA expression. The control values were at 0 μ M of PC or lysoPC.
