FLL Challenge Teams of 3-10 children, ages 9-14, guided by at least 1 adult coach, have 8-12 weeks to: Complete an annual Challenge: Project Presentation (1/3 of Score) o Analyze, research, and invent a solution on the season theme o Develop a creative presentation about the solution and deliver it to a panel of judges Robot Interview + Performance (1/3 of Score) o Build an autonomous robot that completes, in 2-1/2 minutes, pre-designed missions o Share with judges what the team has learned by solving problems using robotics Demonstrate Core Values (1/3 of Score) o Emphasize respect, integrity, friendly sportsmanship and community involvement
