2. What is matter?
Matter is anything that has mass or volume, and takes up space in the world

3. Types of Matter
There are 3 types of matter:
Solids
Liquids
Gasses

4. Solids
Solids are a type of matter in which the particles are packed close together, which makes the object have a definite shape.
Examples: a brick, a penny, a piece of wood, a chunk of aluminum metal

5. Liquids
Liquids have particles that are more spaced out, so the consistency of this type of matter is very free flowing, with no definite shape.
Examples: Water, soda, juice.

6. Gasses
Gas particles are the most spread out of all the types of matter. A gas a substance that is like air and has no fixed shape
Examples: Water vapor, condensation, smoke, clouds.
