Four issues selected and addressed by the drafting group :
scale,
uncertainty,
effectiveness of the measures,
CEA in the planning process.
A first draft document on CIRCA since September but … case studies and experiences are lacking. Data and experiences are difficult to obtain

3. CEA Activity : next steps
Need to have a better idea of available experiences, methodologies and data in MS.
How to progress?
Using the UK questionnaire results
Organising a working session, on 21 December
with CEA drafters and PRB (Brussels).
Each participant will be invited to present the state of play on CEA in his country, river basin, or NGO

4. CEA Activity : next steps
The report will be modified during first trimester 2006, taking into account the new inputs, the conclusions coming from the working session, and the state of the art in the different MS.
The draft new report will be discussed within WG B and SCG in Afterwards, it will be presented to Water Directors in June 2006.
The final document should be practical and include examples
