Forty-four (44) are powered by CNG
Twenty-three (23) are powered by electric batteries
FCRTA does not operate any diesel powered vehicles
Goal of 2025 to have 100% alternative fuel fleet

Charging infrastructure installation is costly and takes time
Extra driver training is required for electric vehicles
Range is a big factor for operating on rural routes with high mileage
W/C Lifts in some manufacturers has been problematic
ADA accessibility (sedans vs. other vehicles)
