1. Cyclone Fani Appeal
Cyclone Fani made landfall in India on Friday 3 May with winds gusting at more than 190kmh. It hit the poorest state of Odisha the hardest, leaving many without power and communications lines, and is now moving through Bangladesh.
More than a million people were evacuated away from the coast in India alone.
A total of 59 million people in Bangladesh could be exposed to cyclone wind.
Christian Aid is acting to raise urgent funds
Immediate needs: Food, water, shelter and getting to the most marginalised groups.

You who calmed the storm
You whose light shines in the darkness
You who walks with us through the valley of the shadow of death.
Be a refuge and strength
For our brothers and sisters
In India
In Bangladesh.
As the cyclone roars,
Be a voice of calm.
As panic rises,
Bring your peace.
As fear takes its toll,
May hope spring forth.
We pray for safety, for refuge, for food and medical attention where needed most desperately.
Open our hearts to hear the cries of our neighbours.
In your name we pray, Amen.
