4. Keeping Parents Updated
POWERSCHOOL-
Students will be using Power School in the classroom on a regular basis. Therefore it is imperative to make sure you register ASAP after receiving the information.
You will be able to receive regular progress reports via from PowerSchool, too.
reminders- We will send 5th grade updates and reminders frequently via and must have your address to do this. If you did not register online or would like to add an additional address, please let us know before you leave today.

7. GRADES Turning in work on time is very important!
Late work results in lower grades!
Daily reminders will be distributed to any child who has missing work. If there is missing work, students will have a lunch detention and mandatory study hall that day to provide extra time to get caught up. More detailed information can be found in the homework policy.

8. PowerSchool is a wonderful tool to use on a daily/weekly basis to help ensure academic communication between parent/child.
Be sure to utilize the daily Assignment Notebook and PowerSchool too to help stay on track!
Please refer to the homework policy you received this morning, sign it, and turn it in before you leave today.

10. Attendance Good attendance is essential!
Students with 5 or more unexcused absences may be asked to appear before the Greeneville Truancy Board.
3 tardies (including afternoon checkouts) is equal to 1 absence.
Please call or by 8:30 with homework requests. Materials will be available AFTER school.
School board policy states that students who are absent have 5 days to turn in missing work.

11. Snacks We will have a snack break each morning.
All snacks MUST be nutritious! (peanut butter crackers, fruit, applesauce, etc.)
Students may choose to purchase milk or water from the cafeteria when ordering snack.
Water bottles may be carried throughout the day. (Plain water only)
