Dates to know
* We will finish up our testing this week and begin Reading Groups next week! Then we will begin reading regular books that are on your child’s level for homework each night. Thanks for being patient during this time of review & testing.
* Thank you for remembering to send transportation changes in writing AND for sending in a snack each day for your child!
* Register to volunteer for field trips ASAP!

Our Learning Focus
Theme: Friends & Family – Kevin Henkes author study
Math: Sequencing numbers, addition strategies, & solving problems with pictures, words, or numbers
Phonics: Review of Letters and Sounds
Reading Focus: Describe characters, setting, and major events using key details
Writing Focus: Writing narratives that recounts 2 or more sequenced events and includes details, temporal words, and a sense of closure
