Create a series of your own Cyanotypes.
Use objects, acetate drawings and *negatives to create different styles of Cyanotypes. Create a page on your weebly site. The next slide tells you how to set out your page. Have fun and enjoy *Using photoshop choose an image, change to black and white, invert to a negative SAVE into folder for Mrs C to print out onto acetate.

Weebly Pages Cyanotypes – A description of a Cyanotype and a brief history. Mention Sir John Herschel and Anne Atkins. Add 5 examples of cyanotypes, 2 must be by Anne Atkins. Making a Cyanotype – Describe how you produce a cyanotype. You must include…. Materials list Chemicals and the recipe Instructions on how to coat paper, expose and develop your prints. (For the instructions you could record your steps or video yourself giving instructions) Cyanotype Prints – Photograph a selection of your prints. Make comments about the most successful compositions and exposed prints, and what you could do to improve. What did you prefer to produce your prints and why…Objects, acetate ‘drawing’ or negatives. Extras if you have time… If you had time to add tea/coffee toning your can add these images too. Manipulate using Photoshop. Try layering with your other photos, remembering to print screen to document what you have done and how.
