2 Common Difference: The difference between each number in an Arithmetic Sequence. Sequence Generator: An algorithm used to find the next number in a sequence. Very useful in writing computer software. Initial Value: The first value in a given sequence. Zeroth Term: The term in a sequence that precedes the Initial Term or first term.
