The number one Spanish tennis player of
all time is Rafael Nadal. Here is a list of the other top players
Arantxa Sanchez Vicario in 1995 (three time French Open champion 1989, 1994, 1998, and US Open champion.)
Carlos Moya in 1999 (1998 French Open champion)
Juan Carlos Ferrero in 2003 (2003 French Open champion)

He is considered the number one Spanish tennis player in Spain.
He now gets called the nickname “The King of Clay.”
Nadal is the Gold Medalist at 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, China for Tennis

This is the premier international team event in men’s tennis.
It is run by the International Tennis Federation
It is contested annually between teams from competing countries countries in a knock-out format.

5. The Fed Cup
The Fed Cup is the premier team competition in women’s tennis
Launched in 1963 to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the International Tennis Federation
The competition was known as the Federation Cup until 1995
