What is media? Media = Communication
A medium of communication is any method by which we spread information. The human voice was the first medium *Consider the amount of time you spend watching movies and tv, reading books, magazines, and newspapers; surfing the Internet; listening to music on the radio, computer, or disc; and looking at advertisements.

What is Media Literacy? Media Literacy is about asking questions to understand the motives behind a message. Media Literacy is the ability to understand the visual messages that we receive every day.
