3. Background
I picked this topic because I would like to be a type of nurse/doctor. The human skin really interest me. I want to learn more about how your skin reacts with different lotions and how the chemicals in the lotion react to your skin…...In this case how it reacts with jell-o.

4. Hypothesis
If I test 3 different types of lotion, then Eucerin will keep your skin (jell-o) the smoothest…...

Independent - Type of Lotion
Dependent - How the jell-o reacts to the lotion
Constants - Amount of jell-o,amount of lotion, & type of jell-o

6. Procedure Assign a number to each lotion you want to test.
Assign number for control samples that contain only gelatin dessert.
Label 3 dishes for each moisturizer you want to test, plus 3 dishes for gelatin controls only.
Follow instructions on back of jell-o packet to prepare
Measure 3 teaspoons of each lotion and apply to top of jell-o
Make sure to cover the top all the way
Record data over a week time period
Which ever one weighs the least is the best type of lotion of the three.

8. Conclusion
I tested Figi Lotion, Eucerin, and Stress Relief lotion. I did this because I am interested about the human skin and would like to be a type of doctor. i hypothesized that Eucerin would the best and it was. The thing changing was the type of lotion and the thing staying the same was the amount of jell-o,type of jell-o, and amount of lotion applied to jell-o. My data showed Figi was the worst and Eucerin was the best lotion of the three to use.
