2. Rules & Procedures
You will have 4 days to complete the 6 different stations on your adventure (You will about approximately 15 min/station)
You may bring guides to help you along the way (Note packets and mushroom flipbook)
If you do not finish a station, the rest must be completed for HOMEWORK! The packet is a grade!
All regular lab safety rule apply (Example: DO NOT eat or drink anything!)

3. Station #1 Kelp in Your Cupboard
Look through some common items found in a cupboard and see what algae you can find!

4. Station #2 Boston Lettuce & Brain
Eating Amoeba
Look through some lettuce data and a Chicago Tribune article to answer some questions!
(You will need a calculator!)

5. Station #3 Prepared Protista
Take a closer look at some prepared protist slides, draw them and answer questions.

6. Station #4 Virtual Pond Dip
Complete a virtual lab looking at pond water to learn more details about protists.

7. Station #5 Classifying Protists
Use images to help you classify the three groups of protists.

8. Station #6 Algal Blooms
WOW!
This station will have you report about the Red Tide and create a short story!
