2. Tasks
In pairs learners undertake internet research to explore the impact of the internet and social media on other aspects of life. Pairs should choose which aspect to explore from the following list:
business
media and communications
arts and music
culture and beliefs
health
Politics
Learners should aim to identify and describe 3/4 potential benefits and 3/4 potential dangers of the growth of the internet and social networking for two different social groups – the rich and the poor – for their chosen aspect of society.

3. Collect information about your chosen topic.
Find a minimum of 3 references from at least 2 different sources, e.g. newspaper articles, internet sources, books, video, Utube, Facebook, Twitter etc.
Process the information in PowerPoint and present it as follows:
Design an illustrated title page with pictures
Complete a brief introduction of your topic by answering the following: What is it about? Who were affected? Where is it? When and what is happening? What has caused it and what are the results?
Draw a star diagram to show significant things about your topic.
Write out a word paragraph describing the key points of your research.
Include a map and graphics such as graphs with relevant details.
Provide an evaluation of your research to outline of what you had problems with, what worked well and what you could do better in the future
Provide a bibliography in APA format that records all the references you used.
Use color and pictures for your presentation.
