9 A+ Information for 2019 Seniors
Requirements: Enrolled in 3 Consecutive Years at an A+ High School & Trained 50 hours of tutoring Good Standing (ie No major discipline) 2.5 GPA 95% Cumulative Attendance or Greater Proficient/Advanced on Alg. I EOC or Qualified Math Score* Due Dates: A+ Tutoring Hours are due no later than April 12th Spring Break Opportunities to earn some hours: See Mrs. Carroll Attendance: Watch your attendance. If it dips below 95% after Spring Break, see Mrs. Carroll ASAP A+ Appeals…DUE APRIL 12TH: The only area to appeal for A+ is Attendance. If this is your only area that prevents qualification for A+, please see Mrs. Carroll if you haven’t done so to discuss if an Attendance Appeal is feasible (ie medical documented issues or other family-related absences that could be documented). Math Requirement: If you need a qualifying math score because you didn’t meet the Alg. I EOC score, you must have an ACT math subscore and GPA met on a Sliding Scale (3.0 GPA & 15 ACT Math Subscore; GPA & 16 ACT Math Subscore; GPA & 17 ACT Math Subscore)---There is an ACT test scheduled for April 8th. This would be your last opportunity to meet the qualifying score.

13 Class of 2019 Selecting Student Speakers
Pick up Application with Kate Strahl starting on March 25 Application Due April 9, 2019 to Kate Strahl Applications Located on the SHS Website & Administrative Center Tryouts will be conducted after school on April 11 High Academic Achievement: The student must demonstrate academic achievement, as evidenced by a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0. Community Service: The student must have a record of meaningful community service. Graduating Senior: The student must meet all graduation requirements. Public Communication Skills: The student must demonstrate the potential to communicate to a large audience on a graduation-related theme in a meaningful, clear, and an expressive manner.
