Nearly every American household supports a sport team that’s played in America
Sports bring unity and friendly competition to friends and family.
Most people in the household have been a part of some sport.

3. Relationship to culture
American Sports are based off of European sports.
Basketball is based off of lacrosse, A European Sport.
American football is based off of rugby, A European sport.

4. Sports Stereotypes
The Soccer Mom- usually referring to mom with multiple kids that drives a mini-van and car pools all of her kids to their sports games.

5. Stereotypes Continued..
The “Die- Hard” Fan- “Die Hard” Fans are the extreme of the extreme when it comes to fans of sports.
They represent their teams to the fullest with all of the attire.

6. Most Watched Sport
Football also known as the NFL is the most watched sport over the past 20 years.
