Steps to solve a quadratic equation by graphing
Solve -(x – 1.5) = 2x(x + 1.5) Set up each side of the equation as a function y = -(x – 1.5) and y = 2x(x + 1.5) Graph the 2 functions Identify the intersection point(s). (0, 0) Use the x value(s) of the intersection point(s) for the solution(s). x = 0
