- Write down the agenda for the week including due dates and page numbers. - Pretend you are a dollar bill. Write from the dollar’s point of view, and tell where you have been in your lifetime. (At least a paragraph)

2 Language Arts Bell Work Tuesday 9/18 I.N. page 35
Write a short story using the words you created your poster over. The words can be the characters, or the characters can struggle with using the words correctly. Help your reader understand the difference between the words. When you finish, be prepared to present your poster project that is due today. While others present, take notes over their words. You must have at least 10 notes taken in your I.N. page 35.

Before you turn in your I.N. today, you will be completing an in-class writing assignment. Please respond to the directions on the paper in your I.N. page 36. You may make a page 36A,36B etc... I will call you up one by one to conference with you about your Narrative. YOUR I.N. (with today’s assignment) is DUE AT THE END OF CLASS.

4 THURSDAY 9/20: Read Write Source pages 12-13
Write a list on the back of the rubric for today of at least 3 things you would change in the writing. (Leave space for questions we will answer later.) When you finish, re-read your personal narrative and make any corrections you find.

5 THURSDAY 9/20: Peer Conference over Draft # 2
Pick your own partners...carefully  Read your narrative out loud to your partner. Grade your partners paper using the rubric when you are both finished reading out loud. Underline words on the rubric that fit their writing. And give an overall score. Don’t Forget... Tomorrow we are editing and typing Draft #3 Bring a flash drive if you need more time to work on it at home. DRAFT #3 DUE MONDAY

What do you feel like you have improved on the most in your writing throughout the process of writing your personal narrative? Why? If you could change your story what would it be? Why? If not, what do you want to change about your narrative right now? Describe what you think the Revising & Editing stages of the writing process should look like? Staple the rubric with these questions to your Draft #2. Turn it in on your way out of class today.
