HIGH SCHOOL SENIORS ROADMAP TO LMC
Students will submit a Summer or Fall 2019 application online. For guidance, the LMC Outreach team will be at your high school to conduct Pre-orientation / Application workshops. An LMC Student ID number and InSite log-in information is ed to the student within 24 hours. The student can then log into InSite and complete the Online Orientation. APPLICATION & ONLINE ORIENTATION JANUARY / FEBRUARY

ASSESSMENT FEBRUARY / MARCH Students will Complete a Multiple Measures Assessment (MMAP) online for English and math course eligibility. For assistance and to answer questions, the LMC Outreach team will be at your high school to conduct Assessment workshops. If available, students should use a high school transcript when they complete the MMAP.

Newly graduated high school seniors from Antioch, Brentwood, Pittsburg, and other neighboring communities are invited to spend the day at the main Pittsburg Campus. Learn about and sign-up for Learning Communities. Major, program, and Student Support Services representatives are available to explain their benefits and how they help students make a great start and be more successful at LMC. Students will create an Education Plan to know the correct courses to take for their chosen major, degree or certificate. Options include: Couns-031 course (at LMC) Couns-034 (at high schools) Learning Community Orientations Counseling Appointment Student creates own Education Plan EDUCATION PLAN APRIL / MAY

For students with Education Plans, Go Day provides assistance with class registration and the opportunity to complete any enrollment steps that may still be needed, including: Application Assessment Education Planning Class registration Financial aid REGISTRATION ”GO DAY” MAY 18

What is AB540? Have attended a high school in California for at least three years OR graduated early from a California high school with the equivalent of three or more years of credit and attended CA schools (K-12) for at least 3 years) Earned a California high school diploma or equivalent (GED, HS proficiency) Submit the California Nonresident Tuition Exemption Request form to A&R Provide a copy of their high school transcripts
