2. Warm-Up: EME “You” and “Your”
Complete the worksheet. This should not take more than 10 minutes.
Work silently and independently first, after 5 minutes you can check your answers with a classmate.

3. Shakespeare Movies
What were some interesting things you noticed about the plays or movies?
Which of the plays or movies do you want to see the most? Why?

4. Pair Translations
Work with your table buddy. No, you can’t move seats.
I have several passages to choose from. You need to complete at least TWO. Additional ones are extra credit.
Copy the translation into your notebook.

5. Wrap-Up: TPS
Think SILENTLY about the question below.

Choose one of the following writing prompts. Write at least 1 page of response.
What have you learned about Early Modern English and Shakespeare’s use of language? What were some challenges and successes you had today?
What can you tell about one or more of the characters whose dialogue you translated today? Explain using details from the passage.
