5 Fall Courses Depending on field, you will take either 9 or 12 credits
SPED 635 (elem) or SPED 652 (secondary) SPED Strategies Across the Content Areas Select Elem or Secondary SPED 491 (Student teaching) 6 credits      or SPED 490a (Internship)  3 credits)

6 Field: Student Teaching or Internship
491 (6 credits) Student teaching 490a (3 credits) Internship if you are “in place” You will take 490b in Spring 2012 Field Application form to Linda by April 22. Link to this form is on the Fall 2011 Courses page of the cohort website

7 Advising Survey & Field App
Go to Fall 2011 Courses to find the links to the following: Advising Survey (complete by April 11) Field Application (complete by April 22 - send to Linda) Each person in the cohort needs to fill both out.

Your responses will let us know what to submit to Marly's office in order for you to receive CRNs. You should be taking the same level of course (elem or secondary) that you want licensure in. This should also match your student teaching placement level.

9 Masters Program Info Fully online program You can apply if you are
In your final semester of the PB program in your internship (490a) semester When admitted, you will be assigned an advisor who will help you plan your program. Up to 12 credits from the PB program can be applied towards MEd. Advisor approval on which courses can apply.

11 Masters Program How to Apply
Find this link on Cohort Website on MEd Info page: Graduate Division Application (Oct 1 deadline for Spring 2012 admission) If you choose not to apply now, but apply in the future you can. In all cases, the determination on which PB courses apply to your Masters program is made with the advisor.
