7. Email Requirements 1. A Clear Subject Line
2. A salutation (Dear, Hello, etc.)
3. Spell-check, No “text speak”
4. Sign your first and last name (It’s always a good idea to end with a “Thank You”)

8. To Send an Email 1. Click on the mail app
2. Click the compose button in the upper-right hand corner

•The Scenario: You’ve been absent from school for a few days because you had a bad case of food poisoning. (Why did you eat those old eggs?!) You are worried about falling behind, and you would like your teacher to send you some of the work you missed.
•The Task: Get with a partner. Send your partner an as if he/she was your teacher. (You will need to exchange s.) Make sure you follow the rules for proper etiquette.

•Google Docs automatically saves every few seconds
•Your Google Docs are available to you anywhere you have internet access, so there is no need for jump drives or ing a paper back and forth anymore in order to work on it from home
•Google Docs allows you to share your documents with multiple people

14. Setting up Google Docs for the first time requires you to do a sync with your Gapps Email...
Enter your full student address.

Use the password you created at Freshman 101.

•Move into groups of 4
•1 person in the group must start a new Google Doc and share it out with the rest of the group members
•The other group members will need to check their s for the invitation to the document (Just click on your new Gmail App )
•All group members must access the same document and add their name and birthday to the document
