Please continue to encourage and praise your little one for all the great work he/she does at school. We’ve got a lot of fun things to learn in the weeks ahead as the little ones take this time to “shine.” Science and Social Studies This month we will be using our five senses as we discuss the Spring season. On Earth Day, we will talk about how to take care of our Earth so living things can grow and be healthy. The children will add to their vocabulary with words like pollution and recycling. As a family, consider planting a tree in honor of Arbor Day on April 27th. In Social Studies, we will be completing our unit on exploring various places (country, Antarctica, city) and the weather/climates around the world, and begin our unit on different forms of transportation.
