1. Make sure you have your composition book with you. We will be setting it up today. 2. Turn in your Goals Sheet in the back tray. 3. Work on your Personal Biography until I tell you to stop. Bell Work – August 12, 2016

2 Step 1 Set Up Table of Contents
At the front of your composition book, count out the first 5 pages. We will use this as the Table of Contents. On the top of page 1, title the page: Table of Contents. On the left side of the page on the left side of the red line, write "Date" on the top line. In the middle of the page write "Contents" on the top line. On the right side of the page on the right side of the red line, write "Page #" Step 1 Set Up Table of Contents

3 Step 2 Use Tabs or Cut Post Its to Section the Composition Book
Number all of the pages at the top corner beginning with the number 1. After the first 5 pages for the contents, place a sticky note/tab on the 6th page and title it "Star Points." (Star Points on p. 11) Count another 10 pages and place a sticky note/tab on page 31 and title it "Toolbox." Count another 10 pages and place a sticky note/tab on page 51 after "Toolbox" and title it "Close Reading/Short Answer." (You may abbreviate if you like). Count another 15 pages and place a sticky note/tab on page 75 after "Close Reading/Short Answer" and title the tab "My Writing Section" Step 2 Use Tabs or Cut Post Its to Section the Composition Book
