5. Steps During Senior Year Continued
January- Apply for Cal Grant if attending a CA college or trade school after completing FAFSA form
February- Check status of Cal Grants, Fill out Cal Grant GPA Verification Form
March- March 2-last day to submit FAFSA application
March-May- Quickly respond to all requests from universities and financial aid offices

*Send acceptance letter to university
* Take AP exams for college credit

6. AB 540 Undocumented Immigrant Students
May apply for college by fulfilling the following requirements
-attend a CA high school for a minimum of 3 years
-graduate from a CA high school
-sign an affidavit with the intent to apply for legal residency when eligible
-will pay in-state tuition
Ineligible for Cal Grants or FAFSA (will qualify for both after obtaining legal residency)
Eligible for private scholarships
