All Associate Supervisors/ Test Associates (aka Test Administrators) and Proctors must be trained prior to testing Must be school staff members Neither the STC, Test Associate, or Proctor may serve in their role if they are the immediate family member of a student taking the test on the same date at any school Proctor required in rooms with more than 34 students Test Associate must check out materials from STC on morning of testing. Use materials tracking system. Describe process for materials on the morning of the test. Get to school early. Unseal plastic bags. Ensure all tubs/envelopes are correct for each home room testing session. Each test associate will check out their materials. They must inventory and sign for the total quantity received. The materials are then the Test Associate’s responsibility to keep secure until they are checked back in to the STC/IAF at the conclusion of testing.

4 Test Associates Must: Thoroughly study Supervisor’s Manual prior to testing Secure all testing materials in their assigned room and returning them to the supervisor Distribute materials to students individually Follow all test procedures and directions exactly as written in the Supervisor’s Manual Read script exactly as written Script can be tricky, depending on the Option the school selects for administration. It is imperative that the Test Associate thoroughly student the Manual prior to test day. Cannot distribute a stack of 5 books for students to take one and pass back. Each student must receive one test book and answer sheet individually from the test associate.

5 Test Associates Must: Demonstrate directions/actions with an extra answer sheet and test book Monitor students Cannot grade papers, read, etc. Report all testing irregularities to STC Document on Supervisor’s Irregularity Report Sample irregularities and actions pages 13-18 Return all test materials Cannot practice demonstration prior to testing! Sections 11 and 12 of the A/S: students are using information on the back of the test book to complete these sections of the A/S. It is important to ensure students do not open the test books during this time. See also Administrator handout in folder.

Maintaining a copy of this in your records is imperative. This does not need to be submitted to College Board, unless requested. This can be completed prior to testing.
