The stone is believed to be a remnant of the Mosque that Abraham and Ishmael built

7 Performing the Sa’ee The devotional act of walking 7 times between knolls in Ka’bah Walking represents the footsteps of Hagar trying to get water for her son Ishmael

8 Trip to Mina A 3 mile walk from Ka’bah
Pilgrim must recite daily prayers

9 End of Day Two Pilgrims stay overnight in Mina

10 Trip to Mount of Mercy Pilgrims walk to Arafat plain-9 miles from Mina
Mount of Mercy is the location of the last speech given by the prophet

11 Prayer and Reading Pilgrims pray and read the Quran all day at Arafat
Pilgrims stay at Arafat until sunset

12 Muzdalifah After leaving Arafat, the pilgrims walk to Muzdalifah

After that is done the first two rituals are repeated at the Kabah The water symbolizes the water that Hagar found for Ishmael
