When you look at the data you do notice that enrollment has gone down the past three years, free/reduced meals have gone up, and the school is becoming more diversified. One of the reasons enrollment is down because of the Charter school opening in When comparing Sixes to the Charter School there is not much difference in CRCT scores, it does appear however, that Sixes does exceed in some areas. When comparing Sixes to Cherokee and the State, Sixes seems to be doing extremely well. Overall, I think our strong area is reading even though 5th grade went up in the DNM area. However, they almost met the SIP goal of 50% in exceed which was 49.3 and almost at 50% in met which was rd and 4th grade reading the exceed goals were met however the met goals were not quite there. If you look at the DNM areas of 3rd and 4th grade we went down. In math, grade 4 did not meet their 60% goal in the exceed area and their 40% goal in the met area. In fact, for the past 3 years 4th grade has been going down. In the DNM area they went up 5.1 % so with this information 4th grade math would be an area that the data team should look at.

One question would be “What area of math do we look at?” Another question, “What other type of data can we look at to help locate the problem area(s)?”
