1. Autumn Two: London and Beyond Reception: Autumn Two Overview
For the beginning of the Autumn Term Two, Reception will be learning to tell the popular story ‘Peace at Last’. Exploring the sounds of the story, children will begin to use instruments to recreate the noises which keep poor Mr Bear awake all night! Children will share information about traditions in their own families helping each other to learn about similarities and differences within our community.

Over the year, children will continue to develop their mathematical skills and knowledge through Maths Mastery. Alongside this, the children will apply their maths skills across the curriculum, for example comparing the size of animal homes and comparing weights of fruits.
