What is a Math Interactive Student Notebook?
A working portfolio -- all of your notes, classwork, etc. -- in one convenient spot A place for you to complete and keep all of your assignments. Some place for you to process what you are learning each day.

How your notebook will be set up!
Left Side and Right Side Left = Student/ Right = Teacher

Let’s Begin the Set Up! You will decorate your cover once we set things up! Glue in Handout on first page Glue in Rubric on second page Title the third page Table of Contents (skip about 3 pages) Begin numbering each page (1, 2, 3, etc.) in the upper-right and left-hand corners. There should be NO doodling that doesn’t relate to notes. No ripped out pages or torn corners.

Your Math Notebook Cover
Your cover should contain: Your first and last name Math Student Notebook Your teacher’s name, Mrs. Primm Decorated with magazine clippings that describe YOU!

A few reminders to help you keep an organized notebook
Even pages should always be on the right; odd pages should always be on the left. Whenever something is added to the Table of Contents, write it down immediately! Whenever you receive a handout for your notebook, put the page number on it and put it in your notebook immediately!

Each page will be numbered the same so that we will stay on the same page at all times
