MS = Multiple sclerosis

Is the use of electrical current produced by a device to stimulate neurons.

SAD = Seasonal Affective Disorder
SAD = Seasonal Affective Disorder. Recurrent winter depression characterized by overeating, oversleeping and irritability. Relieved by the arrival of Spring or light therapy.

EST = Electroshock Therapy
A treatment for serious mental illness. The application to the head of an electrical current to induce a seizure.

Amount of alcohol found in a persons bloodstream.

TIA = Transient Ischemic Attack
Ministroke. A temporary blockage of blood to the brain, causes dizziness, numbness, impaired vision, unconsciousness

OCD = Obsessive Compulsive Disorder
A person with OCD cannot control their fearful or worrisome thoughts. May control this by repetitive behavior.

ADHD = Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder
A common behavioral disorder that affects 8 to 10% of the population, mostly boys; They act without thinking, cannot sit still.

A MR scanner to obtain Detailed sectional images Of the body.
