2 Metaphor A figure of speech comparing two or more things without using “like” or “as”.

3 Simile A figure of speech comparing two or more things using “like” or “as”.

4 Onomatopoeia The use of words whose sound suggests the sense

5 Figurative Language To describe something by comparing it with something else without using the literal meaning  

6 Narrative A story or account of events, experience, or the like, whether true or fictitious.

7 Plot The plan, scheme, or main story of a literary or dramatic work, as a play, novel or short story; storyline.

8 Concept An understanding retained in the mind, from experience; a general idea.

9 Inference A truth or idea drawn from another which is admitted or supposed to be true

10 Evidence Facts or observations presented in support of an idea.

11 Idiom A speech form or an expression of a given language that is peculiar to itself grammatically or cannot be understood from the literal meaning.
