An understanding retained in the mind, from experience; a general idea.

9. Inference
A truth or idea drawn from another which is admitted or supposed to be true

Facts or observations presented in support of an idea.

A speech form or an expression of a given language that is peculiar to itself grammatically or cannot be understood from the literal meaning.
