Health and Disease Health is the state of physical and mental wellbeing What might affect your health? Diseases are major causes of ill health. They make the immune system react They can be causes by bacteria, viruses and fungi. They could be treated by drugs or other treatments They could be incurable

Risk Factors Risk factors are linked to increasing the chances of a disease. Risk factors could be linked to: a person’s lifestyle The substances within a person’s body Genetics The environment
