In 2d art we create the illusion of form by using perspective or shading and modeling techniques

7. There are two main types of texture:
Real texture- the way the surface of an object actually feels. 
Implied (visual) texture This type of texture is used by artists when drawing or painting.
Third type- invented/creative texture which is basically just patterns or contour lines

9. COLOR is perceived when light hits and reflects off of an object.
Three properties of color are Hue (name of a color), Intensity (strength of a color) and Value (lightness or darkness of a color).

Value gives objects depth and perception.

Positive space refers to the actual subject matter in a work of art.
Negative space refers to the space around and between the subject matter.
