3. Europeans Leave
Europeans eventually pull out of Africa and leave behind a mess:
No stable government
People divided
Many African nations go into war and change boundaries
Boundaries by Europeans did not consider culture so they try to change them
Europeans had exploited all their resources leaving Africa without a good way to make money

4. South Africa
Left with four different groups- the Boer, the British, the elite Africans, Africans
The British remaining began an apartheid
Making segregation legal
Forced most Africans into slums with no way to sustain themselves
Whites were the only ones allowed in government
If Africans protested, they were put in jail

5. Short Answer
The government runs many things in our country including schools, hospitals, welfare, etc. Imagine that the government just leaves. What would happen to you? The city? The country?
