What is imagery (recap from last year)

What is MLA citing? When an idea is not yours you have to make sure that you give credit to where the idea came from. When writing papers you need to give evidence of your information. If you wrote a paper on the Hero’s Journey you should give credit to the creator. When writing about Gilgamesh’s features you should cite where you read them from
4
Example In the prologue it states,
He was wise, he saw mysteries and knew secret things, he brought us a tale of the days before the flood. If you were to write on how Gilgamesh was wise you could use this quote. But, you have to cite where you got this quote from so this is what it would look like: In the prologue it states that Gilgamesh, “was wise, he saw mysteries and knew secret things, he brought us a tale of the days before the flood (3).”
5
Read We read the prologue, lets continue reading Battle of Humbaba
Death of Enkidu
6
Imagery Project 1. Find an example of imagery in The Epic of Gilgamesh. 2. Write the quote from the book with an MLA citation 3. Which of the five senses does this quote evoke? (Sight, hearing, taste, smell, touch)? 4. Draw an illustration of this piece of imagery.
