2012 reporting on implementation of Programmes of Measures
Reporting tools were accepted in WG D meeting Last comments to be incorporated until the SCG meeting MS have more than 1 year to complete the report based on the reporting tools (until 22 Dec 2012)

GW reference layers An EU-wide GW reference layer can not be produced based on the current deliveries Problems with the delineation of GWBs will be discussed in the 2nd workshop on Groundwater Bodies in Europe in Berlin in December 2011 (see outline of the workshop on CIRCA) ETC/ICM paper summarized the problems (also on CIRCA)

Workshop on Climate change, water and agriculture 22-23 September 2011, Madrid ClimWatAdapt project ( Combination of climate change and socio-economic scenarios for 2025 and Vulnerability indicators for floods, water scarcity, droughts and impacts on water quality. Database of adaptation measures with potential impacts. Integrated assessment tool. 2nd stakeholder workshop (results already on the website): Introduction to vulnerability indicators, results from the vulnerability assessment Overview on the inventory of measures Assessment and evaluation of adaptation options Final results soon

Ad-hoc activity under CIS process 2nd Water Science meets Policy Event Socio-economic tools supporting the WFD implementation: Possible contribution in the perspective of an ecosystem services approach clarifying ecosystem services concepts in light of the WFD implementation and helping build a common language among scientists and with forefront stakeholders from EU, national and river basin levels. helping participants to investigate how ecosystem services can be used and valued, for integrated catchment management as well as for WFD implementation (e.g. RBMPs and programs of measures).
