2. LIFE SKILL LEARNING Group work skill: to express feelings and opinions in nonthreatening way I – message not threatening speaking for myself expressing the need „I see it this way...“ „I need more facts...“ I message opens discussion, You – message making other person guilty offending others Example: „You do not say the truth...“ You message blocks discussion HO 1 – exercise formulation of I messages Kód ITMS projektu: C789

3. LESSON CONTENT – DEMONSTRATION AND ACTIVITY
In groups of 4 students: prepare anemometer ( anemo = wind in Greek, e.g. wind meter) from the available materials. Based on the movement of anemometer in the wind, each group counts how many times it spins in a given time (spins or revolutions/1 min). The blow of the wind is measured in km/1 hour, the result needs to be conversed into cm/1 min and then conversed in km/1 hour. HO 2 – conversion procedure Kód ITMS projektu: C789

3. LESSON CONTENT – cont. Activity: compare your result with a Beaufort table: Kód ITMS projektu: C789

5. OCCUPATIONS RELATED TO THE CONTENT MATTER
Task 1: Find the jobs of wheather forecasting: Task 2: Research the jobs of wind energy production and usage: Task 3: Guess and research the other related jobs: Kód ITMS projektu: C789

5. REFLECTION OF THE LEARNING AND COOPERATION
In the groups that you have been working reflect (individually and then discuss together): Reflect on learning: What have you learned? What attracted your attention from the whole content? Which method have you found suitable for you? What was not so easy to do or learn? How have you deal about it? Reflect on the group work: How your cooperation was going on? What went well and what could be done better? What will you keep and what will you done diferently in your group work next time? Reflect on the occupations: - What have you learned about the jobs related to the anemometer? - What was attractive on these jobs for you? Kód ITMS projektu: C789
