Behavior Expectations
Our Pod Norms: Complete all work on time, legibly, and follow directions. Use classroom rules and respect ALL people. Walk quietly in a single file line. Listen to teachers and classmates, and think before you speak. Keep your area and materials organized – be prepared.

Cafeteria Manners Use good table manners!
Clean up your area … we are the first ones in the cafeteria so it is spotless when we get there!

Parkview Cluster Grading and Window of Opportunity Policy
Re-Test Policy: Will be allowed one summative assessment (tests) redo per 9 weeks per subject Must complete a Summative Mastery Ticket in order to re-test Test given may be in another format Any student eligible Higher grade will be entered No re-tests during the last week of the 9 weeks *Remember … Check the Portal frequently! Remind parents there is a copy in folder! *Study guides!

Parkview Cluster Grading and Window of Opportunity Policy
“Window of Opportunity (WOO) ” Policy: The WOO for late class work is 3 days; afterwards, students earn an “NTI.” If students are absent, they will be given time equal to the absence to complete work. For example, if a student is absent for 2 days, they will have 2 days to make up work. Teachers will communicate with parents regarding late work! *Remember …. Check the Portal frequently!

Homework Designed to be a practice of skills learned in class
Assigned daily and recorded in agendas (SS and Science will alternate) 20 minutes of reading daily Establish routine Failure to complete homework will result in a loss of privileges

Homework Study Hall/Homework Help to be offered Tuesday – Friday
There are many resources to help with homework! Quality of work is important! All of these expectations lead to student responsibility for their learning!

Materials and Organization
Agendas Binders Composition Books Students should be prepared each day with the supplies needed for school! RESPONSIBILITY!

Attendance Please be mindful when making appointments.
Let your child’s teacher know if you will be checking your child out early. It is the student’s responsibility to find out what material was covered and what assignments were missed.

Bring Your Own Device (BYOD)
You must view the Power Point on Arcado’s webpage and fill out the release form. Students are ONLY allowed to bring devices when requested – the teachers will let you know! Devices are only to be used for specific academic purposes. We are not responsible for students’ devices!
