Daily Schedule Approximately 8:00am – 5:30pm 60-90 minutes for lunch
15-20 minute breaks 2-3 times each day Individual classes may be cancelled by the teacher.

Weekly Schedule Every day is different!
Location and meeting times change from day to day. No school Wednesday afternoon (most lycées) Some schools have classes on Saturday morning.

Courses Offered Students choose their track early on, which determines the courses they take in their last 2 years of school S: Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Geology, Math ES: Economics, Sociology L: Languages, literature, philosophy, history, geography

Courses Offered Number of hours per subject is mandated by the National Ministry of Education Philosophy required 2 languages required English Spanish, Italian, German, Russian, Arabic… Options Latin, Greek, Art

Grades Course grades are out of 20 points
18-20 very difficult to achieve 12/20 is considered good. 10/20 required to pass

Students are NEVER late to class. Very few disruptions Teachers often unavailable for help

La cantine (cafeteria) on campus

Sports & Clubs Physical education is a required course.
Sports outside of class are done outside of school on community teams. (No school sports teams!) Few to no clubs School is focused strictly on academics.
