2 Fractions, Decimals, and Percents are pretty much the SAME things!!!

4 Always make sure your FRACTION is in
Decimals as Fractions To turn decimals to fractions you just “say” it. Ex: 0.6 0.6 is “six tenths” so 6/10 is the fraction! 6 3 10 5 Always make sure your FRACTION is in SIMPLEST FORM!

5 Decimals as Fractions 0.45 says “45 hundredths” says “375 thousandths” 45 9 100 20 375 15 3 1000 40 8 ***Try to use BIGGER numbers!!!***

6 Don’t fear the Mixed Number
9.85 1st say the decimal and write it as a fraction. Now stick the WHOLE number in front… 2nd just ignore the WHOLE number! 85 17 9 100 20 17 9 20
