Capítulo 6 Gramática 2 Parte 3 Affirmative Informal Commands with Pronouns
Página 218
2
Where does a direct object pronoun go?
Before the conjugated verb or attached to the infinitive (if there is one)
3
¿Siempre preparas la cena?
No, no la preparo siempre, pero hoy sí voy a prepararla.
4
Direct object pronouns with affirmative commands:
Attach the pronoun to the end of the verb.
5
Pronouns with Commands
¿Preparo la carne? Sí, preparala. **When you attach a pronoun to the end of most commands, you must add an accent mark to keep the pronunciation the same. The best way to figure this out—count back three vowels from the end of the new word.
6
¿Como el sándwich? Sí, cómelo.
7
Sí, ponla. ¿Pongo la mesa? **You don’t need to add an accent to
a two syllable word—if you count back three syllables there’s nothing there Sí, ponla.
8
¿Necesito servir las ensaladas?
Sí, sírvelas.
